Purpose of Mandatory Fee Arbitration
The purpose of the San Gabriel Valley Lawyer Referral Service Mandatory Fee Arbitration Program is to resolve fee disputes between clients and attorneys. Clients and attorneys have the opportunity for a neutral arbitrator to resolve any disputes regarding attorney's fees through an informal, low cost proceeding.
An attorney/client fee dispute can be arbitrated if the attorney has an office in Los Angeles County, or the majority of services were rendered in Los Angeles County.
